Accommodations
A few onsite rooms will be for rent in Slocum Hall with a private bedroom and shared bathroom with shower. These are authentic "rustic" accommodations. Think renovated 1920s boarding school more so than a luxury hotel. On site RV spots with and without hookups are available as well as numerous tent camping sites. Both RV and tent camping will have access to bathrooms and showers.
Onsite lodging and camping will be available for advanced purchase in the springtime. Lodging estimated at $50/night, camping estimated at $25/night.
Meal plans
Lunches and limited snacks are included in the tuition price. Meal plans for onsite dinner and breakfast will be available for advanced purchase in the springtime, cost estimated at $25/meal for dinner and at $10/meal for breakfast.
Scholarships
50% scholarships will be available to students less than 18 years of age. Applicants should pay camp deposit(refundable) and submit scholarship application for consideration to joe@idahobluegrasscamp.org. A few 100% scholarships will also be available.
We ask that each student submit a short letter or video describing how long they have been playing, current or previous instructor, previous performing experience, prior awards, and goals with their instrument. This isn't meant to be highly competitive, just informative for the scholarship committee.
Minors
Camp students less than 18 years old: You are welcome at camp! A release form will be required for participation. See attached.
